My day today is designed to get to know two distinguished missionary family who work in the capital city of Wales. The capital city of Wales is Cardiff, and it is very different than the cities in North Wales.
The Richards family, JA and Pam, have been in Wales for just over 20 years. They started a work in North Wales, but were called to South Wales to work in the capital area. They serve one church Sunday morning, then work together with the Owens Family in the evening at Cornwall Street Baptist Church.
Ricky and Jaime Owens also serve at a different church in the morning. Jaime is the daughter of JA and Pam. The Owens joined the work here in 2005!
Today, Monday, It was my pleasure to run around Cardiff with these fine missionaries and see the great need of this area. And just to make sure there were no hidden motives, JA made it clear from the beginning that his goal was to create such a burden for Cardiff that I would return as a missionary to help with the work. There is truly a great need here. Pray that the lord of the harvest would send forth laborers, for the work is great, but the laborers are few!
As a part of our time, We went as saw some local castles. Check out these picture that show the churches and some of our day's travels.
