Hello, this upcoming week for the Carbaugh family is extremely busy. First, we are on the road. I am typing this update from Lynchburg, VA. Shannon is thrilled to be able to see the college where she is currently studying. We will be attending church tomorrow at Thomas Road with some friends who traveled to Israel with us. After services we will be hitting the road again, south toward Atlanta.
Second, it's Mother's Day Weekend, and our plans include attending servics and driving for 6 hours. Not an idea Mother's Day, but then again, Shannon is not a "normal mother." In fact, she is super mommy!
Third, when we get to Atlanta, there is a week full of events. These events include counseling, picking up graduation appearal, graduation practice, the acquarium, a visit with the Daly's, etc.
Fourth, on Thursday, Megan turns 10. Yes her birthday falls right in the middle of our time away.
Fifth, on Thursday, My mother, Aunt and their lifelong friend is coming into Atlanta to be with us.
Sixth, on Friday, I graduate.
Seventh, on Saturday, we drive almost all the way home!
Eighth, on Sunday, we drive three hours back to CT, attend church, and take Megan to Beauty and the Beast at the Shubert for her birthday.
It's going to be busy, but that's where I will be for the next week!
