Well, it is finally here...the day I return to the office. And a new office I might add! My first day back in the office at church has been pretty uneventful. Mail needed to be opened and trashed, books needed to be sorted, phone messages needed to be answered, people needed to be seen, etc, etc, etc. Back to the routine of what I call ministry. I do like the routine!
But mostly I like the people. Saw Joe today...he looked good, but still needs our prayers for strength and healing of the infection in his heart valve. Saw the Whitney and Bias families today...we enjoyed the patio together till the rain made us move inside. Saw Chuck today...he was weak, not one of hi better day. He needs our prayer for peace and strength. Talked to Ray today...what an encouragement. Spoke with Judith today about Unis...she is recovering after surgery and is already at home. She can still use our prayers as she recovers from surgery. Pretty usual day. But then again, pretty awesome. Awesome to be loved by so many. Awesome to get to walk life together with some many wonderful people. Awesome indeed!
Perhaps tomorrow will be even better!
